An agreement has been signed today between Blue Pie, Oxide Records & Garden Records for the Dino Jag remixes of “Moonbeams”. The track was originally recorded by Barry Crocker in the seventies whilst in LA recording the “No Regrets” album…
“For this project, I wanted to work with songs that Barry had a hand in writing, & amongst the pile was this track called “Moonbeams,”” says Dino Jag. “Barry had originally co-written the track with Harry Garfield (now senior vice president of Music, Universal Pictures) & Jay Graydon (Writer/Producer for Air Supply, Al Jarreau, George Benson, Earth Wind & Fire, Herbie Hancock…). The track was written during the recording sessions for “No Regrets” in 1977. “Moonbeams” was then also recorded & included on the album.
Working on the recoding sessions for the album were such giants as David Foster, Jay Graydon, Dave Parlato, Greg Mathison, Larry Carlton… the cream of LA’s musicians & producers at that time. It’s going to be a real treat to be able to work some of these original sessions into the new version & I’m so looking forward to it!”"
