I’ve been acquainting myself with some of Barry Crocker’s earliest recordings & films in preparation for our up & coming project together…
Barry has recorded so many albums over the years & amongst them are some real gems which have been a blast to listen to. He has a huge voice… & some of the orchestral arrangements on these recordings are just classic – & all performed by real musicians too!
I also went out to the local video store & hired a copy of “The Adventures of Barry McKenzie.” This was one of the classic movies that Barry Crocker starred in during the seventies. I couldn’t stop laughing… check out the hippy scene in the combi van when he sings the “one-eyed trouser snake” song… a must-see for every Australian!
Barry Crocker has an incredible history as a recording artist, actor and TV personality… It’s a real honor to be able to work with him.
