Internationally acclaimed didgeridoo player and story teller Andrew Langford flew down to Adelaide this week from the Red Centre to do some pre-production work with Dino Jag and Rob Vorel (pictured in Rob’s home studio) for the 2007 season of “The Didgeridoo Show Outback”.
“We did some recording and worked on the creation and synchronization of new multimedia elements for this year’s show”, says Dino. “Rob has built up some great new grooves and soundscapes. The fusion of these “new-age” elements with the ancient sound of the didgeridoo will enable the audience to experience and connect with the instrument in a whole new way”.
The eight-month season officially kicks off in April at the Sounds of Starlight Theatre which is located right in the heart of Alice Springs. The theatre (which coincidently was founded by Andrew Langford some 11 years ago) has become a hot spot for tourists visiting Australia from all over the world.

Here’s a picture of Andrew Langford playing the “Wah Wah” didge which sounds very cool!
