The Launch of “Square Peg” – The Stage Play

The 2014 Adelaide Fringe Festival is about to kick into full swing and I am particularly excited about it this year as I will be making my debut as music director and performer in the stage play titled Square Peg.”

Square Peg

About Square Peg
“Square Peg” is a unique theatrical stage production which fuses drama, comedy, ventriloquism and a healthy dose of live music to tell the story of the adventures and mishaps of a boy growing up (Square Peg) in a world which doesn’t seem to be the right fit for him somehow.

The story of Square Peg, written, produced and directed by Karen King and Andrew Cooper, sets out to illustrates that people are responsible for what they chose to do and how what they do affects their lives and the lives of others.

Together we will be dishing up and serving a smorgasbord of very tasty familiar and unfamiliar pieces of music which have been written by local and international artists, including some of my own which will be performed live for the very first time!

About Adelaide Fringe Festival
Each year, during February and March, the Adelaide Fringe literally takes over the entire city and this year will be no exception with over 900 events staged in pop up venues in parks, warehouses, lane-ways and empty buildings as well as established venues such as theatres, hotels, art galleries, cafes and town halls.

Artists from all over Australia and across the globe participate alongside home-grown talent, in art forms spanning cabaret, comedy, circus, dance, film, theatre, puppetry, music, visual art and design.
